From the Malay part, we cycle to the Indian part, where we enjoy a delicious local brunch (Malay/Indian). We continue our tour to Little China where we will visit the very special Chinese Sin Sze Si Ya Temple. Via Bukit Nanas, we enter the Golden Triangle with the famous Petronas Twin Tower.

Banana Leaf Tours

There are 2 Banana Leaf Tours namely the Banana Leaf Tour Royal Selangor Club and the Banana Leaf Tour Titiwangsa Golf Club. The tours both last about 3 hours and each has its own itinerary with a special story.

Banana Leaf Tour Royal Selangor Club

(only  Saturday)

The historical elements of Kuala Lumpur are the focus of this tour. You cycle past beautiful colonial buildings from the British era on this tour. The buildings are a nice contrast to the ultra-modern buildings of recent decades. Merdeka Square is the famous independence square in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This square is one of the most important historical sites for Malaysians.

On the square is the extraordinary Royal Selangor Club. This is a private club founded in 1884 by the British who ruled Malaysia until 1957. This exclusive club is only open to its members. For MikeBikes guests, the club makes an exception! First, you get an interesting tour and then get to enjoy a delicious, authentic Banana Leaf lunch.

We start at 10:00 am at MikeBikes' office and we will be back around 1:00 pm.

Banana Leaf Tour Titiwangsa Golf Club
(only Friday)

This tour starts in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Among other things, our guide explains the development of the city and the importance of and relationship to tin mining. Then the tour takes you from the bustling city life to the quiet, green outskirts. Swaying palm trees lead you to Taman Tarik Titiwangsa Park. Many Malaysians like to spend their leisure time in this area. The park is considered the best place to recreate and escape from the busy city life. You will then continue cycling through the beautiful green landscape and enjoy an authentic Banana Leaf lunch at the Titiwangsa Golf Club.
This tour really lives up to Kuala Lumpur's name as the 'City of Contrasts & Diversity'.
If you love cycling in greenery, this is totally your tour.

We start at 10:00 am at MikeBikes' office and we will be back around 1:00 pm.
